ACCESSIBLE VEHICLE FLEET

Wheelchair accessible Vehicles (WAVs) in Munich – In our adaptive vehicle fleet, we only use Mercedes Benz, Ford Transit and MAN vehicles. These accessible vans offer space for up to eight passengers or for up to six passengers and two wheelchair users – perfect for airport transfers, business shuttles and barrier-free excursions! Our vehicles have been tested and certified for accessibility by “Tourism for All“. In addition, our company was awarded by “Accessible Bavaria“!

All vehicles have been specially converted for the transport of people with restricted mobility with wheelchair ramps or lifts (KMP or formerly BTW). You can also rent a wheelchair in Munich on a weekly basis.

Mercedes Benz Sprinter

Our Sprinters are equipped with a linear lift with a load capacity of up to 350 kg and roll-off protection. FutureSafe headrests and backrests are individually adjustable for different types of wheelchairs. A fully automatic side step and yellow handles at the side entrance make it easier for people with restricted mobility to enter through the sliding door from the sidewalk.

MAN TGE

Our van from MAN is approved for two wheelchair users and up to five seats and has a hydraulic lift with a load capacity of up to 350 kg. FutureSafe Head & Backrest offers maximum safety. The passenger and wheelchair restraint system is DIN and ISO tested. A step at the side entrance makes it easier for people with restricted mobility to access the interior from the sidewalk. Modifications were made by the company AMF-Bruns.

Wheelchair-Taxi in Munich

Within Munich city limits, you can book an accessible taxi for spontaneous trips through the taxi dispatch centers Isarfunk and Taxi München. Munich’s wheelchair-accessible taxis are equipped with a lift or a rear ramp. If you have an electric wheelchair or a very large wheelchair, it’s best to inquire with the taxi dispatch center in advance about the maximum entry width and height.

If you can transfer on a seat as a wheelchair user you can order a normal taxi with large trunk at any time via Isarfunk and Taxi Munich.
