Recently, we at SBS Fahrdienst München had the pleasure of transporting our long-time customer Marco, who uses a wheelchair, to the BMW Museum in Munich – a trip he had been eagerly looking forward to.
He was accompanied by our colleague Philipp, who is responsible at SBS Fahrdienst for planning and organizing accessible city tours. Philipp regularly visits potential excursion destinations to inspect their level of accessibility. This outing was also a special one for him – his last visit to the BMW Museum was over 30 years ago, so it was definitely time to return.
At the museum, countless colorful cars and motorcycles from every decade awaited them, each telling a part of the fascinating story of the BMW brand – from timeless classics to futuristic concept vehicles. One of the most impressive aspects of the visit was the accessibility of the museum, which allowed Marco to explore everything independently and comfortably.

The museum staff were also exceptionally kind and attentive: they welcomed Marco and Philipp past the long entrance queue and even offered helpful tips to ensure a smooth and barrier-free visit.
Time flew by so quickly that there wasn’t enough left to explore the adjacent BMW Welt – but no worries, a second visit is already being planned!
At SBS Fahrdienst München, we’re proud to help create experiences like this for our passengers. Because for us, it’s not just about transportation – it’s about inclusion, participation, and meaningful moments. Inclusion isn’t an option – it’s our standard.
